KYALITE PUB’S 2009 INTER-CLUB COMP.
For invited clubs only the 13th Inter-Club Comp was held on the last Weekend of October 2009.
The Kyalite Happy Hookers were in force to defend their bragging rights. Oter competing clubs were St Arnaud, Sit n Sip from Axedale, Globe Anglers from Ballarat, Barham Anglers, Balranald and District Anglers, Sport and Game Ballarat.
This report is a little late in coming, but better that than not. ( Ken has been having trouble with his new camera.)
The weather was great. Water levels in both Edward and Wakool high and the Yellows were on the move. So were the Cod but they had to go back.
GLOBE ANGLERS now have the perpetual Clock hanging on the wall of their pub at Sebastapool.
Final results: Globe Anglers 29.4. Kyalite Happy Hookers 21.6. Barham Anglers 20.5, Balranald and District 18.5, St Arnaud 17.5, Sit n Sip 8.00 Sport and Game 5.45.

Not A Fishermans Arsehole.
A split decision between two sober ladies Heather ( Barham) and Shorty ( Kyalite) Both of these clever fishergirls went arse-over-head trying to tie up their boats. The only dry bit Heather had was her hat, however Shorty won the trophy on a count back of bruises.
Poor Shorty had aches and pains everywhere for days – but no smpathy as Ken did offer to kiss ‘em all betta.
Apologies to all our site visitors for a late report, but better that than not.
The Kyalite Pub Comp is in its 14th year this year and its popularity continues. It is a comp that does not have large expensive prizes, entry fees are affordable and the whole theme is social, enjoy a friendly comp, the river and meet your mates from last year.
